Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter Supervisor located in Bhiwandi. The Carpenter Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of carpenters and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed on time and in accordance with quality standards. This includes but is not limited to reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, ensuring that tools and materials are used efficiently, making suggestions for improvement of production processes, and providing daily progress updates to the project manager.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proficiency in the use of carpentry tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Understanding of safety practices and regulations in carpentry work
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well with a team and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in retail showroom carpentry work is a plus
• A carpentry certification or equivalent education is preferred
