Position: Manager – Sales and Operations, mi.com

Location: Bangalore

Job Duties:

As a core member of Xiaomi India Mi.com team, the “Category Manager – Sales and Operations, mi.com” will be responsible for the sales of all categories (Phones, TVs and AIOT) from the mi.com platform. The person will have end-to-end ownership of all activities involving sales and sales operations of all products & all related operations on Mi.com.

Job Responsibility:
• Lead a team for the end-to-end management of sales & sales operations on mi.com including stakeholder management for front-end customer experience and back-end configurations and optimizations. The team will include KAMs for respective categories as well as Sales Operations personnel who anchor the backend work related to sales operations.
• Coordinating with Category (GTM), SCM, Logistics, Partnerships team, Customer support, Online sales, Internal campaign / marketing and Product teams to achieve business objectives and implement interventions
• Planning of BAU operations & sales strategies with a view to achieving sales targets for all categories – Phones, TVs and AIOT. Lead the team to fix any issues arising within the channel including but not limited to Inventory alignments, offer alignments & interventions, merchandize planning, price setups and regular sales updates and prevent Out of Stock.
• Responsible for driving special projects – Exchange, Loyalty program, and Value-added services to name a few.
• Responsible to anchor external relationships and conversations with third party vendors on aspects that impact sales.
• Will have to coordinate with the internal finance and operations teams for reconciliation, payments to partners and resolve any operational issues.
• Will be responsible for building relationships across all levels in the organization
• Ensure cadence of reporting - providing sales metrics and insights across categories and SKUs. This includes presenting the mi.com sales and operations update to the senior management, GTM as well as cross functional forums.

Desired Candidate:
• MBA from a tier 1 college
• Good to have 6-10 years of experience in sales / category management / team lead roles
• Good soft and written communication skills
• Highly organized and efficient in time management
• Excellent problem solving & negotiation skills
• Rational and analytical thinking
• Team management

Understanding of Xiaomi’s product portfolio is an added advantage

Qualification – Any Master’s Degree
