Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries and procedures
Perform laboratory tests
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
Take radiographs
Educate pet owners on medication administration and post-care instructions
Maintain medical records accurately
Handle and restrain animals
Assist with the cleaning of the hospital and end of day responsibilities
Job description
Beebe Veterinary Hospital is looking to grow our staff with the addition of a Certified Veterinary Technician. Our clinic offers a friendly environment for our clients and their pets in our small town and surrounding areas.
Job Duties:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries and procedures
- Perform laboratory tests
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take radiographs
- Educate pet owners on medication administration and post-care instructions
- Maintain medical records accurately
- Handle and restrain animals
- Assist with the cleaning of the hospital and end of day responsibilities
