Job Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Job Location: Mumbai

Compensation:

Up to 3 crore per annum

About the Company:

Our client is a leading FMCG company with a strong reputation for quality products and innovation. As the company continues to grow and expand, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer to lead their HR function.

About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the CHRO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the HR team, overseeing all HR operations, and driving the development and implementation of HR policies and practices that support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives
• Lead and manage the HR team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality HR services to the business
• Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and performance management
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work culture
• Drive the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the company's overall business objectives
• Develop and implement HR policies and practices that are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between HR and other departments within the organization
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to address these issues
• Manage and oversee HR budgets and ensure that HR activities are delivered in a cost-effective manner
• Provide advice and guidance to the CEO and other senior leaders on HR-related matters

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field; Master's degree is mandatory
• 15+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures, as well as applicable employment laws and regulations
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Experience working in the FMCG industry preferred
• Experience working in Mumbai preferred
