ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our Client based in Sydney Olympic Park is an industry-leading accounting firm that is experiencing rapid growth. Within a short period of time, you may be given the opportunity to open up and run a new office in Sydney. Work with an innovative team that has large social media presence from the assistance of an off-shore team. This position will require you to attend the office full-time.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A permanent opportunity. Work within a team of 14, plus 13 off-shore accountants. Experience in tax accounting is mandatory and the requirement is to either be CA qualified or close to certification. You will manage a ledge of clients up to $1m and mentor a team of tax professionals.
DUTIES.
Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partners, trusts & companies
Prepare and file activity statements and FBT returns
Ensure timely payments of clients' tax debts
Analyse financial statements including tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities & more
Develop tax planning strategies
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Experience in tax accounting within an accounting firm
Exceptional communication skills
Experience using XPM and Xero will be highly regarded

$120,000 - $150,000 package + bonuses
