About The Team
We are embarking on a Cloud Transformation journey across the business to accelerate our use of public and private cloud services at scale. The Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions. The broader organisation incorporates infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day-to-day basis including data centres, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation.
The Cloud Transformation Office (CTO) is a new organisation within Technology, providing a central office for all cloud transformation activity to achieve the goal of 80% on cloud by 2025 in a way that is sustainable to enable scalability & resiliency with the correct financial, security, audit & compliance controls in place.The purpose of the office is to help provide a leading light on how we transform & a central source of help enabling teams to reach their cloud potential.
The role
As a Service Catalogue Analyst within the Cloud Transformation Office (CTO), you will assist the Service Catalogue Manager in developing the process, tools and governance to build and maintain a Cloud Service Catalogue and ensure alignment with the portfolios and their proposed Cloud Transformation roadmaps. Once the Cloud Service Catalogue is established, you will measure the performance and accuracy of the Service Catalogue and provide regular reporting to CTO Committee. Your role will require co-ordination of activity across Enterprise Architecture, Security, Finance, Risk and Compliance, Learning & Development and Cloud Enablement Teams to provide assurance that Cloud Services are introduced in line with Fidelity policies.
• Manage the Service Catalogue policies and procedures
• Maintain the Service Catalogue
• Work with Service Owners to design bundles of service offerings and standard services
• Work with Service Owners and CTO members to ensure accurate Service Catalogue items are listed
• Ensure that a single source of consistent information is maintained in the Service Catalogue
• Communicate Service Catalogue, its components and updates to appropriate stakeholders / users
• Assist Service Owners with developing content for the Service Catalogue (including components of services)
• Regularly audit accuracy of Service Catalogue and rectify any issues
• Manage a standardized Service Catalogue management process for adding, removing and modifying Service Catalogue items
• Assist in the development of mechanisms for making the Service Catalogue available to users
• Assist to reinvent and innovate on automation and improvement of Service Catalogue in general
About You
• Experience in data gathering & catalogue management for IT services, preferably with working knowledge of cloud environments
• Good understanding of as-a-service models
• Understanding of the basic components of cloud and infrastructure services
• Understanding of business as a whole with respect to technologies, platforms and infrastructure
• Ability to understand trends and new technologies especially in platforms
• Ability to communicate technologies and services clearly and concisely for training and information purposes
• Passionate about serving the customer and possess drive to add business value
• Strong communication skills - verbal, written & listening skills
• Ability to capture requirements efficiently & concisely
• Ability to manage data & to be detail orientated
• A general interest in cloud technologies, agile methodologies & challenges ahead of FIL in transforming for cloud
• A self starter, motivated individual who loves a challenge to seize the opportunity
