Hay Shire Council Commonwealth Home Support Program is currently seeking applications from people interested in working in the aged care sector. The primary role of this position is to provide care to clients which may include home support, respite care, shopping assistance and social support.
The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:
Certificate IIl in aged care or an associated field is preferred however aged care experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
Demonstrated ability to work with and provide assistance to individuals from a diverse range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and display time management skills.
This is a casual position with an attractive hourly rate of pay inclusive of casual loading
