Brent Street is Australia’s Home of Performing Arts. Our company is home to nearly 1000 of Australia’s finest young dancers, singers and actors, training intensely for greatness and success. Classes and Training Programs start at age 2yrs and go up to our Pre-Professional Full Time Courses for adults. We are located within the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, NSW.



ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re restructuring the Marketing Department at Brent Street and are now looking for a Full Time, Content Creator. With strong content creation skills and budding social media experience, the Content Creator excels in creating captivating Videography, Photography and Social Media Content. They are responsible for engaging with our online community, keeping our social media active and growing with content, stories, comments, conversations, DMs and more; a content and social powerhouse. This role reports to the Social Media & Content Manager.



WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• an all-round content creator who creates exceptional videography, photography and social media content

someone who’s Tik Tok obsessed and constantly on the forefront of new internet trends, trending sounds and topics
a creator of great short-form content quickly and on the fly, who also has a passion for storytelling and slow-burn content
someone eager to jump in to a pre-existing workflow and framework, with an enthusiasm to learn, execute and expand on it
a strong writer with excellent English (verbal and written) who loves to connect with a wide community/audience
a self-starter, with an ability to work both autonomously to achieve company targets and goals
someone who loves going to see live theatre productions and musicals, with a genuine passion for the performing arts


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You know the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite inside and out (we use Premiere, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator on the daily)
You have experience with Meta Business Suite/Creative Studio for scheduling posts
You have strong experience in video/photo/content creation and social media community engagement
You know your way around social media platforms off by heart and know what content ‘goes off’ on each - Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube - and an eagerness to expand into new platforms and content plans as we expand.
You’re organised and able to plan your content production to adhere to our posting schedule
You are proficient with Outlook, Teams and the Microsoft Office Suite
You have experience working collaboratively with files and assets – keeping your desktop and folders organised and crisp clean!
A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one


DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in the Performing Arts or Dance industry
A strong/developed aesthetic and style of work
Relevant tertiary qualification/experience
