Job description
Our client in the financial space is looking for an Event Manager with corporate event planning experience to join their team! This role encompasses managing event logistics, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring high standards for client-facing events.

Pay Range: $35-40/hr.

Location: Hybrid (Chicago)

Duration: 2 year contract

You Will:
• Plan and execute events, conferences, and meetings for cross-border groups, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
• Manage event calendars, registration, and onsite execution.
• Coordinate with internal and external vendors/suppliers, handling venue research, negotiations, and contracting.
• Provide logistical advice to clients based on event objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Canada and the U.S. to align event strategies.
• Maintain quality control and uphold standards for all events.

You Have:
• 3+ years of event management experience.
• Professionalism in interacting with senior executives and clients.
• Passion for events and event planning.
• Able to travel ~25% (must be able to obtain passport for travel to Canada)
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems, and negotiate effectively.

• Familiarity with Cvent is preferred.

Logistics:
