Liontown Resources is seeking applications from experienced Cost Controllers to support our Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), Water Management, and Sustaining Capital works teams. This is a 12-month maximum term opportunity based at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting to the NPI and Sustaining Capital Works Manager, you will play a key role in monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project and operational costs. This role ensures effective financial management, forecasting, and cost control across multiple workstreams, helping to optimise budgets and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control project and operational costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Provide regular cost reporting and variance analysis to key stakeholders.
Track, analyse, and forecast expenditure for NPI, Water Management, and Sustaining Capital projects.
Support the development and maintenance of cost control systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
Work closely with project managers and procurement teams to ensure financial accountability.
Assist with invoice reconciliation, contract cost tracking, and commitment reporting.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies across projects.
Ensure compliance with financial governance and reporting standards.
About you
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in a Cost Controller, Project Controls, or Contracts Administration role within mining, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in cost control systems, financial reporting, and budget tracking tools. SAP experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with cost structures related to Non-Process Infrastructure, Water Management, and Sustaining Capital projects.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance professionals.
Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and ******* screen.
