The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst to add to our dynamic and motivated team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive domain owner, capable of handling projects and tasks from start to finish, including planning, implementation and delivery. They will be adept at translating business requirements into effective data models and visualizations, and finding valuable insights in data. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in data analysis and visualization design and implementation and to have a meaningful impact on business intelligence and data-driven decision making.
You’ll be responsible for:
Business problem solving: Translate business challenges into data-driven questions and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Data analysis and modelling: Identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical methods and analytical tools.
Visualization and reporting: Create dashboards, charts, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements, align on objectives, and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
End-to-end execution: Take ownership of data projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and delivery, supporting both immediate needs and long-term initiatives.
Troubleshooting and optimization: Identify and resolve issues related to data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
Security: Ensure that our data is protected and handled securely.
What we expect from you:
Experience creating data models and visualizations
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, and data manipulation at an intermediate to advanced level
Experience with Power BI, Snowflake or comparable business intelligence or data warehousing tools
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic, data-driven decision making and insights
Ability to operate effectively in a self-directed role, with strong ownership and accountability
Additional experience that would be beneficial:
3+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst, using data-driven insights to influence and support business strategy.
Professional certifications or Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science
Experience writing and debugging SQL queries for reporting purposes
