We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow within the office. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in various office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Successful candidate will work Mondays-Thursdays from 7:00am - 4:00pm. Wages are dependent on experience and benefits are available after a three (3) month probation period.
Duties
Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls using phone systems.
Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Utilize Microsoft Office programs and bookkeeping software (Quickbooks).
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Experience
Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, particularly in the construction industry.
Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are essential.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
