Job Description
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
This is a unique opportunity to join AWS as a Data Center Technician in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of system (Server/Network) reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
Share knowledge and help educate less technical staff on the best practices in Data Center Operations
Be a technical escalation point for other team members
Participate in and deliver on high impact projects
Contribute to, and improve on operational efficiency
Requirements
This role may involve bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely
24/7 shift coverage is required and includes 12 hour rotating shifts. This may change based on the future needs of the business
Due to the location of our sites, candidates should possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle
