Key Responsibilities
• Data Setup & Configuration:
• Modify and configure 3DExperience data structures for Piping, HVAC, and Electrical disciplines based on project specifications.
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of PLM data across disciplines.
• Testing & Validation:
• Test and validate data setup changes to confirm compliance with project requirements.
• Execute and refine EKL scripts for automation and data consistency.
• Support the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new configurations and updates.
• User Support & Training:
• Provide direct support to engineers in using 3DExperience and CATIA V6 for Piping, HVAC, and Electrical design.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to data setup, design methodology, and software usage.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure engineers are proficient in using the platform effectively.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to align data setup with business needs.
• Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Functional Support Head of Department.
• Document best practices, lessons learned, and key configurations for future reference.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Strong expertise in 3DExperience and CATIA V6, specifically in Piping, HVAC, and Electrical disciplines.
• Experience in data setup, EKL scripting, and testing within 3DExperience.
• Hands-on experience in supporting engineering teams in a PLM environment.
• Familiarity with offshore engineering projects and PLM data management best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in an offshore setting while maintaining collaboration with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in shipbuilding or marine industry projects.
• Knowledge of Dassault Systèmes’ methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with UAT processes and troubleshooting complex PLM issues.
