The Opportunity
We currently have a new opportunity for a Design Manager to join our team. In this role you will manage and provide governance over the design aspects of our water infrastructure / construction projects, ensuring the delivery teams are equipped with the project specific designs and technical specifications. With your expertise, you will identify and resolve design risks associated with any projects that are delivered. Your strength lies in partnering with the delivery teams to ensure the quality of construction is in line with the design specifications. Your style is collaborative by nature, and you enjoy working across different teams to achieve a common outcome. This role is based out of our Western Sydney office in Girraween.
You Will Bring
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
CPEng or equivalent, or able to work towards attaining this within 12-18 months of commencement
Vast experience working in a relevant civil construction and / or design role
Exposure to Australian (AS/NZS) design standards is desirable
Experience working on pressure and gravity systems is desirable but not essential
