Job Overview:

We are seeking an experience Digital Printing Operator to operate and manage a web-based Digital Décor Paper Printing machine. The candidate is to be responsible for setting up and operating digital printing equipment to create high-quality decorative paper used in furniture, flooring, and interior design. This role involves maintaining high standards of colour accuracy, pattern precision, and production efficiency. The operator ensures seamless workflow, conducts quality checks, and coordinates with production teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Web-Based Printing Equipment: Set up, operate, and monitor web-fed digital printing machines to produce decor paper with optimal efficiency.

Web Handling: Align, load, and manage continuous rolls of paper to ensure smooth feeding and tension control during the printing process.

Prepress Preparation: Review and prepare print files, verifying that all formatting, colour settings, and resolution specifications meet job requirements.

Colour and Pattern Control: Implement colour calibration and profile management to maintain consistency across print runs, ensuring precise replication of decorative patterns.

Quality Assurance: Inspect printed materials for defects such as misalignment, colour deviations, and inconsistencies. Adjust settings as needed to uphold quality standards.

Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance and basic troubleshooting of printing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain peak performance.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues during the printing process, ensuring continuous operation.

Documentation: Record print job details, production logs, and maintenance reports accurately for operational tracking and quality control.

Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, adhering to company and industry safety regulations.

Collaboration: Work with design, production, and quality control teams to align on printing specifications and optimize workflow.
