The Opportunity
Our current Director, Corporate Services is retiring at the end of September, and we are seeking a seasoned leader to step in to this pivotal leadership role and continue to uphold the organizations core non-revenue functions including finance, human resources, and facility management. Serving each of these functional areas, CREB® has a tenured, competent and dedicated team of professionals in place.
As the Director, Corporate Services, you’ll serve as a key member of our executive team, entrusted with the strategic leadership and direction for the organization’s corporate services. This role is responsible for providing sound advice, ensuring operational excellence and driving the internal functions that support our vision, mission and values.
What You’ll Do
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic insights and recommendations to shape the organization's direction and strategy.
Manage the financial affairs of CREB®, the CREB® Charitable Foundation, Critical Illness Benefit Society, and REB Resources Ltd.
Maximize return, and limit risk on cash by optimizing bank balances and guiding investment decisions in accordance with investment and treasury management policies
Oversee the capital structure and optimal options for the organization
Oversees the annual budgeting and business planning process in consultation with the ACEO and senior management.
People & Culture
Oversee HR strategies including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Collaborates with the leadership team to identify staffing needs that align with the organizational structure.
Supports the Human Resources team ensuring the highest levels of company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Operations & Facilities
Develop and maintain strategic facility planning that includes long term financial and asset management considerations.
Oversees the management of the CREB® building, physical assets and surrounding property, including maintenance, security, and space planning.
Team Leadership
Provide leadership to members of the Corporate Services team through coaching, guiding and modelling of CREB® values.
Oversees the personnel management of the Corporate Services team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, time and attendance and leave management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability aligned with organizational values.

What You Bring
CPA designation required
MBA or related master’s degree an asset
10+ years of senior leadership experience in finance and corporate services.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex organizations.
Not for profit accounting principles and practices an asset
Human Resource Management experience preferred
Facilities management is an asset
Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and strategic planning.
Certifications such as CHRP, CSAE, or ICD.D are considered strong assets.
