We are seeking an experienced director of software development to lead our cloud solutions team, overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality cloud-based products, leveraging expertise in AWS environments.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Direction: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the growth and success of our cloud solutions team.
Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
Techical Oversight: Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure the development of high-quality software applications that meet business objectives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience in technical roles, including software development and leadership positions.
Proficiency in Python and experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based products on AWS.
Strong understanding of AWS services and ability to review code, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in startup environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
Certifications in AWS or cloud computing would be an asset.
