Dudley Ventures have invested over $1.6 billion with its national banking partners to finance projects with deep community impact. The DV Senior Accountant position reports to the Dudley Ventures leadership team in the Financial Reporting - Accounting and is responsible for the accounting of all activity for multiple entities, preparation of financial statements and conducting complex analyses.

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for full accounting of all activity for multiple entities, including banking activity, journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements.
• Communicate with outside CPA's, including support and preliminary review of partnership tax returns and audited financial statements.
• Interact with investor and other third parties, communicating and coordinating regarding reporting received or provided.
• Participate in consolidating financial statement process.
• Special projects requiring complex analysis and knowledge of GAAP and income tax principles.

Requirements

Required Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use various other financial accounting software packages.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.

Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field and a minimum of 3 years of financial service or public company experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience in accounting, public accounting a plus.
