Join DOF as a Marine Engineering Cadet or Trainee Engineer

We are looking for a Marine Engineering Cadet or Trainee Engineer to join our team at DOF. This pivotal role will support the maintenance and operations of our advanced offshore support vessels.

This role will serve as a stepping stone for aspiring marine engineers, providing them with hands-on experience and essential skills. Your dedication, enthusiasm including your commitment to safety is an invaluable asset, in shaping the future of DOF’s Marine Engineering crew.

Requirements

Available to commence as an Engineering Cadet or Trainee Engineer in 2025.
Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Applied Science (Marine Engineering) or equivalent or meet the minimum entry requirements.
Tertiary certificates and/or trade qualifications in electrical, engineering and/or mechanical disciplines would be beneficial.
The ability to obtain and hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
Strong communication and teamwork.
The ability to work with people from varied backgrounds.
Compliance with all work, health and safety practices at all times.
Demonstrate a flexible, adaptable and resilient approach to meet vessel and company demands.
