Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about event planning and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. The Event Coordinator will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ensuring each event runs smoothly and meets client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning Support:
Assist in developing event concepts, timelines, and schedules. Collaborate with the team to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently.
Vendor Coordination:
Communicate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure services and materials. Ensure all contracts and agreements are finalized within budget.
On-site Event Management:
Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of events. Act as a point of contact for vendors and clients during events.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain event documentation, track budgets, and process invoices. Update event databases and create post-event reports.
Customer Service:
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly. Ensure a high level of satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with event management software or CRM tools is a plus.
