Salary: $51,230 - $60,560 per year

The Entry Level Events Assistant will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of various corporate and client events. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in event management while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, meetings, conferences, and other special occasions.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment setup.
• Maintain and update event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with vendors, venues, and service providers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist in preparing event materials, such as invitations, programs, signage, and promotional materials.
• Support the events team with administrative tasks such as maintaining event budgets, processing invoices, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Provide on-site event support, ensuring all elements run smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, including gathering feedback from attendees and preparing reports on event success.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field (or in pursuit of a degree).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• Basic knowledge of event planning and coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
