The Opportunity
Responsibilities
As an Event Specialist, you will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of client-focused events, from high-profile conferences and industry sponsorships to tradeshows and internal programs. Your responsibilities will include:
• Event Mastery: Plan, coordinate, and execute memorable events that leave attendees raving.
• Logistics Management: Oversee event logistics from A to Z, including venue research, vendor coordination, and onsite management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align events with marketing and business development goals to create seamless experiences.
• Internal Programs: Support successful internal programs with your expertise.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects seamlessly, focusing on the details that make each event unique.
• Budget Management: Ensure events remain financially on track, maximizing resources for optimal impact.
• Feedback Analysis: Gather post-event feedback and analyze results to celebrate successes and identify areas for improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
The Perfect Candidate Will Have
• 3-5 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or business development (preferably in a professional services environment).
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with marketing technologies and tools, including CRM software and social media platforms.
• A proactive, client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong writing skills to create engaging event materials.
• Experience in coordinating events, including logistics and vendor management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle last-minute changes with ease.
• A willingness to travel for events, meetings, and conferences is a plus.
