As an Events Assistant at Sonar Spark, you will be an integral part of our event planning team. You will assist in the coordination, organization, and execution of events from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event management, providing valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site support.
• Help with creating event timelines and ensuring all milestones are met.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist in managing event materials and promotional items.
• Provide on-site support during events, including registration, guest services, and troubleshooting.
• Help in post-event follow-up, including evaluations, surveys, and thank-you notes.
• Maintain and update event files, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative.
• Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
