About the office
The Prospective Students Office is responsible for driving the University’s objectives in relation to recruiting prospective students across all programs and supports the successful transition of strategy into operational plans across the entire student recruitment journey.
The office collaborates with the Faculties, Schools and all Offices and Departments across the University to build and strengthen the University’s brand and reputation.
About the role.
The Events Coordinator, Future Students focuses on leading and coordinating special projects such as recruitment events, industry expos and regional high school engagement, leading projects and providing effective and accurate reporting and insights to allow for data driven, informed decision-making. The position reports to the National Manager, Prospective Students Office.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and coordinate events and expos within the Prospective Students Office such as Open Day, Info Day, Industry Expo’s and regional high school engagement in NSW and WA.
Project manage key events with support from the National Manager and National Director to assist in the recruitment of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Initiate and develop high quality professional relationships with faculty administrative staff, senior officials and other internal stakeholders and contribute positively to the team environment and effective interactions.
Develop specialist knowledge of the courses and faculty/schools, including the unique selling points, and admission requirements.
Undertake conversion activities as required to guide prospective students toward enrolment, including one-to-one advice sessions, campus tours as well as call, email and mail campaigns.
Ensure compliance with Notre Dame Identity guidelines, University brand governance, University privacy policy, and other relevant University policies and procedures.
Qualifications, skills & experience
Degree qualification in a relevant discipline with several years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination or relevant experience and/or education/training.
Knowledge of student recruitment and conversion, with a sound understanding of the student recruitment cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
Experienced in managing events or projects which demonstrate strong organizational planning and evaluation skills.
Sound knowledge of CRM principles, and demonstrated experience in using CRM systems and/or databases.
Excellent communication with a demonstrated ability to produce accurate and informative reports from multiple data sources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results and take initiative.
Capable time management with a demonstrated proficiency to respond to changing priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Hold a current driver’s license to travel within New South Wales or Western Australia and a valid Working with Children Check in New South Wales or Western Australia.
