1. Ensure the safety and security of passengers and staff: The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all
passengers and staff are safe and secure while using the ropeway. This includes monitoring the ropeway for any
potential safety hazards, overseeing the operation of security equipment such as metal detectors and CCTV cameras,
and supervising security personnel.
2. Develop and implement security procedures: The Security Supervisor must develop and implement security
procedures to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the ropeway. This includes creating emergency response
plans, training security personnel, and establishing protocols for handling security incidents.
3. Monitor security systems: The Security Supervisor is responsible for monitoring all security systems, including CCTV
cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems. They must respond quickly to any security incidents and take
appropriate action to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
4. Supervise security personnel: The Security Supervisor must supervise all security personnel, including security guards
and surveillance operators. They are responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling security staff and ensuring they
perform their duties effectively.
5. Conduct security audits: The Security Supervisor must conduct regular security audits to identify all potential
vulnerabilities in the ropeway's security systems. They must then take appropriate action to address all issues and
improve security measures.
6. Coordinate with local law enforcement: The Security Supervisor must maintain a good working relationship with local
law enforcement agencies to ensure a quick response in case of a security incident. They must also work with local
authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and guidelines.
7. Maintain security records: The Security Supervisor must maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all security
incidents, including accidents, thefts, and other security breaches. They must also prepare regular security reports for
management and regulatory agencies.
