About the Business
Our Closing the Gap Policy and Transformation team provides strategic policy advice and drives the transformational change required to implement the National Agreement on Closing the Gap within DHS and ultimately improve life outcomes for Aboriginal peoples, their families and communities.
Role Details
The Executive Officer is a role within CTG&T and is accountable to the Director, CTG&T for:
Providing high-level confidential executive assistance to the executive and secretariat support for working parties and committees.
Providing project and policy support and undertaking discrete projects which contributes to the work of the CTG&T team.
Supporting the directorate business needs in accordance with the Department of Human Services, policies, procedures.
Special Conditions

National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Role Status: Term up to 1+/0+/2025
Salary Range: $85,7+0-$+5,413 (ASO5)
