Role Description
As a Fashion Designer / Graphic Designer Assistant, you will work directly with the founder and be involved in both creative and operational aspects of the studio. The role combines design support, digital content creation, and production coordination. You will gain hands-on experience in the Indian and export markets, while working on customizable and inclusive clothing. This is a full-time, on-site role in Jaipur, offering practical exposure and the chance to contribute directly to a growing design studio.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development and Creative Support
• Assist with creating design sketches, mood boards, and sourcing fabrics and trims.
• Support in fittings, styling, and preparation for photoshoots and campaigns.
• Create graphics, layouts, and digital content for lookbooks, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain organized records of design files, fabric swatches, technical sheets, and samples.
Production and Order Fulfillment
• Coordinate with tailoring and production teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
• Track each order’s journey from fabric sourcing and dyeing to stitching, finishing, and packaging.
• Maintain and update Google Sheets order management system for all sales channels including Shopify, Etsy, Myntra, Faire, and custom orders.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment by preparing order sheets, measurement charts, and quality checklists.
Studio and Operations Support
• Handle administrative tasks such as updating logs, invoices, courier tracking, and communication records.
• Provide end-to-end support in studio management from client follow-ups to vendor and supplier coordination.
• Assist the founder in day-to-day decision-making and overall studio operations.
Overall Role
This role is a mix of creative development and operational management. It gives you exposure to every stage of running a fashion label from the first sketch to the packaged order reaching a client.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile, or Graphic Design
Detail oriented with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a high paced studio environment where priorities can shift daily
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva
Strong eye for color, prints, and patterns
Good communication and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and grow while contributing to both Indian and export markets
