Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience in the area
Proficiency with current financial software QuickBooks
Understanding of US GAAP
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data
The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial statements including balance sheets, invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, payroll and investor inflows and documentation, reconcile all accounts, maintain accounting records, and prepare company and department reports
Manage day-to-day company accounts, provide financial reports for all departments weekly
Assist with financial planning
Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management
Process payroll, AP and AR
Engage with auditors in providing financial records and statements such as year-end trial balance, fixed asset report, debt agreements, cap table, accruals, stock option grants, contracts with third parties and other requests for annual audit
Ensure government compliance in all tasks
