Job Description

Role Title: Food Operations Coordinator

Location: London

Employment Type: Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity within Food Operations for a Food Operations Coordinator to join our team.

As a Food Operations Coordinator, you would be responsible for managing menus from the point of sign-off onwards, handling supply challenges, launches & escalating operational issues.

You will ensure the best commercially optimised menus get to our customers, always bringing a sense of the bigger picture into decisions and actions.

They support the Food Operations Manager with the changes needed to maximise menu metrics, but they also work independently on key projects so they are comfortable gaining the right input to maximise the work they do.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage recipe handling
• Making insight-driven menu changes to maximise metric targets – while still hitting our claims.
• Leading menu sign-off checks for the Food Operations Manager
• Actioning menu swaps briefed by the Food Operations Manager & Food Trading team
• Supporting with maintaining and improving the Gousto recipe set

Running review processes
• Collating information and supporting with reporting processes
• Designing and delivering plans for meeting weekly + longer term commitments with other teams

Project management support
• Supporting project delivery and weekly reporting processes
• Leading menu handling for trials, tests and launches

WHO YOU ARE
• ​​Proven experience in administration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• High level of written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Strong analytical mindset; experienced user of Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Commercial decision-making experience; makes good decisions under time pressure
• Clear communicator with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Takes responsibility for managing the standard and quality of own output
• Some experience of sku/inventory/merchandise management is desirable but not essential
