Responsibilities
This senior-level role involves managing full-cycle accounting, leading a team of accountants, and providing financial reports and insights to senior management
The ideal candidate will also develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure alignment with long-term business strategies
Lead and manage the accounting department, including overseeing A/R, A/P, and billing operations
Maintain the general ledger and manage the fixed asset register
Oversee sales tax filing and manage intercompany transactions
Prepare cash flow projections, budget analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
Serve as a liaison with banks and a point of contact for vendors
Manage client and operating bank accounts, including handling currency trades and reconciliations
Process domestic and international wire transfers and ACH disbursements across departments
Provide departmental reports and assist with budget vs. actual analysis
Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and operational plan modeling
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, and prepare monthly cash projections
Support special projects and company-wide tasks as assigned
Serve as a liaison to CPA consultants
Maintain relations with external auditors and implement their recommendations
Manage W-+ and 10++ processing
Collaborate closely with HR for payroll processing, supervising payments, and benefits management

NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to oversee the financial operations for a corporation based in the US, this is a direct hire opportunity. This senior-level role involves managing full-cycle accounting, leading a team of accountants, and providing financial reports and insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will also develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure alignment with long-term business strategies.

Location: This is a hybrid role, with the office located in Fort Lauderdale.

Pay Range:$+0k-$120k per year. PTO, 401k, medical benefits included.
