Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwrights or Millwright / Electrician (Duo tickets) to work at our client's location.

Location: Mississauga

Broad Description of Job Duties:

Make necessary repairs and adjustments on Originating Vision machine transfer equipment.
Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
Retrieve/input work order information from Maintenance Program
Advise the supervisor of needed repairs and supplies for the department.
Maintain the work area in a safe and clean manner.
Install/disassemble, assess/troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
Operate forklift, crane, etc. to transport material, machinery, components, etc.
Work with internal customers to improve processes, etc.
Train peer operators in the most current, correct, and efficient operating methods.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or delegated authority.
General Qualifications/Required Skills:

Demonstrated understanding and competence with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic (including PLCs) systems and devices with respect to their installation, repair, troubleshooting, and dismantling.
Physical ability and cognitive aptitude to perform the essential duties of the job
Familiarity with safety devices on all machines and devices.
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Reasonable oral and written communication skills to convey and receive information
Decision-making techniques are based on assessment of a given situation and sound judgment geared to orders of priority.
Basic Computer Skills.
Experience, Certificates & Licenses Required:

433A Journeyperson Millwright License
30+A or 442A Electrician License
4 plus years recent, related experience in a manufacturing facility
Certified as a forklift and scissor lift operator (with fall arrest)
Dual ticket with 433A Millwright (preferred)
PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading
Experience with cranes, forklifts, aerial lifts, and measuring tools.
