Home Helper/Housekeeper

We have an amazing opportunity for a Home Help person who will be supporting the Brodericks family in providing care and assistance to an elderly member of the family in the comfort of their own home. The right person will be experienced as a carer and will be looking for less hours but provide more flexibility with their working days and times, establishing a trusting and reliable relationship.

About the role

In this role, you will have the rewarding opportunity in assisting the day to day running of a house in High Legh, Cheshire whilst supporting with the care for an elderly woman in continuing to live in her own home with the additional support of her family. The home is installed with a state-of-the-art ground floor assisted living facility, but we need your help in giving her a high quality of life.

You will need to be flexible as support may be needed day and/or night providing essential personal care and companionship.

We are looking for at least 20- 30 hours per week initially with scope for these hours to increase as night care is needed. You will need to be available some evenings and weekends.

Overall Responsibilities

· Assisting with Personal care

· Respite home care, supporting other members of the family

· Companionship

· Light household duties- Organising, errands, shopping

About You

The successful person will go above and beyond in supporting the family in providing the best care. You must have a passion and love for the job.

You will have the following:

· Previous Care experience

· NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in health and social care

· Applicants must be Female only

· Must have use of own car and hold a Full UK licence

· Can commute to the High Legh area

· Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
