Job Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our team and provide comprehensive HR support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR processes and systems, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for those looking to build a career in HR by joining a dynamic HR advisory team within a shared services environment. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are wanting to build a career within HR.
The first line response team provide remote advice dealing with queries both by telephone and via a case management system on a variety of HR issues across the UK whilst working closely with other SME’s. This role would suit an individual looking to start or further their HR career on a generalist level with opportunities to progress into specialities such as employee relations.
This role is based in South Birmingham and working in a hybrid manner.
Duties will include;
· providing an initial HR response as part of the HR first line to maximise 1st time resolution of inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating and providing information;
· triaging and routing enquiries to the appropriate resource or escalate to specialists;
· providing an excellent customer experience to the business;
· logging call details in an effective manner in the case management systems;
· supporting Managers with letter writing for first response calls where appropriate;
· adhering to SLA’s and KPI’s;
Essential Criteria includes;
· A passion for Human Resources demonstrated within studies or work
· Strong Customer Focus with experience of working in a customer- oriented environment
· Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate a high level of oral and written
· English
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the telephone
· IT literate and a confident user of Microsoft Office
· Solution orientated with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
· Able to work on own initiative and also work effectively within a team
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
