The Role:
As the HR Business Partner for our global mining clients you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring the workforce thrives. Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Recruitment:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best talent for our organisation.
Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Workforce Planning:
Analyse current workforce trends and identify future staffing requirements.
Develop workforce plans that align with our strategic objectives.
Drive initiatives to address skill gaps and talent development.
Support the design and implementation of performance management processes.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans.
Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting conversations.
Remuneration Reviews:
Collaborate with compensation specialists to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages.
Conduct market research to benchmark our compensation practices.
Assist in the administration of salary reviews and bonus programs.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leaders on a wide range of HR matters.
Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, promoting a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Strategic Initiatives:
Work closely with the broader P&C team to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
Contribute to the development of innovative HR programs and policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
