Coordinate HR initiatives to foster a positive and compliant work environment.
End-To-End Recruitment including:
Collaborate with department leaders with developing position descriptions & KPI’s
Posting job openings
Screening resumes & conducting phone screenings
Organising employment contracts
Induction & Onboarding
Collaborating with department leaders to:
Design and implement learning & development opportunities, and training materials.
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and templates.
Actively contribute to HR projects, including:
Supporting initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement.
Improving existing HR processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Employee Relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
Assist with offboarding, including conducting exit interviews
Assist in updating the induction & onboarding process
Maintaining the training and skills matrix.
Undertake other duties as required to support the HR objectives of Smardt.

Role & Qualification Requirements

Tech savvy, with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A great eye for detail, while being able to deliver on timelines.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
Capable of taking the lead and working autonomously.


Highly Desirable:

Cert IV Human Resources, business, or a similar field.
Knowledge of FairWork, NES, and Modern Awards

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work unsupervised with a “can-do” approach.
