Responsibilities
As a HR Assistant, you will be tasked with handling day-to-day HR duties, tracking and processing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, working with Leave of Absences (LOA), and performing standard HR tasks

Process onboarding for new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and information

Assist in returning employees from LOA, coordinating and ensuring smooth transition
Track and process FMLA requests, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
Handle workers compensation cases, providing necessary support and assistance
Perform general ad hoc HR duties as required
Use ADP Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, HRMS, and other tools for various HR functions
Conduct auditing, background checks, and other checks as needed
Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving employee inquiries promptly

We are in need of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Long Beach, California. As a HR Assistant, you will be tasked with handling day-to-day HR duties, tracking and processing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, working with Leave of Absences (LOA), and performing standard HR tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
