The HR Intern will work closely with the HR team to support day-to-day operations and special projects, ensuring the smooth running of HR processes
Support the HR team in maintaining employee records and updating HR databases
Support the new hire process in setting up employee accounts, completing training modules, and accessing resources
Help resolve basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Participate in any employee engagement initiatives
Assist in drafting or updating employee handbook or HR policies
Track and document employee compliance, certifications, and other HR-related obligations
Help ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies by auditing HR records and processes
Support HR in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting employee data for reporting purposes (i.e
turnover rates, diversity metrics, employee satisfaction)
Help prepare HR reports and presentations for management, using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and HR software
Analyze trends in hiring, retention, and compensation
Assist in planning and executing companywide initiatives
Support any HR change management efforts
Conduct research on HR best practices, market trends, and legal updates to support HR projects
Collaborate with team members on HR projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the department

About The Role

MWH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR Department in Broomfield, CO. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, training and development, compliance, and much more.
