Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR/Paralegal Assistant to join our team. This unique hybrid role will support both our Human Resources and legal functions, helping ensure that our operations stay compliant, efficient, and employee-focused..
Responsibilities
Human Resources Support:
Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and support day-to-day HR operations
Draft and manage employment agreements, policy updates, and internal communications
Help coordinate employee training, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives
Support the administration of benefits and respond to employee inquiries
Legal/Paralegal Support:
Prepare, organize, and track contracts, legal documents, and correspondence
Conduct research on employment standards and relevant legal compliance matters
Support internal investigations and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Liaise with legal counsel on contract reviews and employment law issues
Track deadlines, compliance requirements, and legal obligations
Maintain accurate employee records and support day-to-day HR operations

Support the administration of benefits and respond to employee inquiries
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in an HR or legal administrative role
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS or document management systems
