We are partnering with a world-leading insurance company to find a Commercial Underwriter in Leeds. This renowned organisation operates in over 20 countries and is respected for its expertise within the general insurance sector.
The role involves working within the renewals department, managing a diverse range of fascinating risks including Professional Management Risks, Social Welfare, Care, Not For Profit, and Charity policies. Key responsibilities include underwriting renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, and developing strong relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.
As a Commercial Underwriter, you will provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. While previous experience within specific product lines is not essential, some underwriting experience encompassing Property / Liability / Commercial Combined or Financial Lines insurance is required.
The company operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work from home two days a week. The team is known for its friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment.
