Role: Interim Programme Manager – Logistics (Supply Chain) – FMCG
Location: London (Ideally 2-3 days per week)
Must be available to start immediately
Salary: Competitive Day Rate or pro rata Salary
Open to both Part Time and Full Time Consultants
Exciting Opportunity: Programme Manager – Logistics (Supply Chain) – FMCG

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company undergoing a transformation, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the shutdown of operations and ensuring the smooth transition and movement of stock. You'll be working closely with 3PLs, handling high SKU volumes, and optimising processes in a fast-paced environment. If you’re passionate about logistics and thrive in dynamic situations, this role offers the chance to make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the logistics operations for the shutdown process, ensuring seamless movement and relocation of stock.
• Manage relationships with 3PL partners, ensuring high service levels and cost-efficient solutions.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and stock management in a high-SKU environment, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement logistics strategies to optimise warehousing, distribution, and transportation during the transition period.
• Lead and support the logistics team, driving operational improvements and ensuring all stock is safely and efficiently relocated.
Key Experience Required:
• Proven experience in logistics management, particularly in environments involving complex stock movements and shutdowns.
• Strong experience working with 3PL providers, managing contracts, and ensuring service excellence.
• Background in managing high SKU volumes (500+) with a keen eye for inventory control and optimisation.
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience guiding teams through transitional or high-pressure situations.
• Hands-on problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results in fast-paced and evolving environments.
