Job Overview As an Interior Draughtsperson at KKD Studio, you will be instrumental in transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings that support flawless project execution. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with designers to understand project goals, layouts, and conceptual directions. • Create accurate and detailed technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure drawings align with technical and structural requirements. • Support design presentations through material boards, sample selections, and visual documentation. • Conduct site visits for measurements, condition verification, and feasibility studies. • Maintain an organized library of standard drawings, design details, and reference documents. • Stay current on drafting techniques, software advancements, and industry best practices. • Assist with product research, procurement coordination, and general design documentation. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a Diploma in Architectural or Interior Drafting is mandatory. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in an interior design firm, preferably with exposure to luxury residential or commercial projects. Familiarity with: • AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools; • knowledge of 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, ArchiCAD) is a plus; • high accuracy and keen eye for technical detail in drawings and documentation; • familiarity with high-end materials, fixtures, and finishes commonly used in luxury interiors; • excellent communication and organizational skills; • ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines; • proactive attitude with a passion for design excellence and craftsmanship.
