Position Summary

The International Business Development Executive is responsible for driving profitable export growth by identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities for our chemical portfolio worldwide. This role demands expertise in global trade, advanced lead generation, and managing the full international sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Market Penetration & Sales: Identify new markets, acquire international clients, and build long-term relationships with distributors and agents globally.
• Export Cycle Management: take responsibility of the entire sales process, including quotation, negotiation of pricing/terms, and coordinating with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth export execution.
• Advanced Lead Generation: Utilize specialized trade intelligence tools (e.g., Import Genius, Trade map, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to conduct proactive date mining
• Strategic Intelligence: Monitor global chemical market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to provide strategic input for product positioning and sales strategies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, report regularly on sales performance to the team leader

Key Accountabilities
• Meet and exceed quarterly, half-yearly and annual export sales targets.
• Generate high-quality leads and convert them into profitable, sustained orders.
• Successfully penetrate and develop business in new target countries.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of all export documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience: 3–6 years in export sales/international business development, specifically in the chemical industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree (Chemistry/Commerce/International Business). PG/MBA in International Trade is an added advantage
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in understanding the analysis report, product specifications and the other technical details.
• Core Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and professional email etiquette for international client interactions.
