This is your chance to bring your love of desserts, operations and logistics to the plate. You will have great opportunities in this fast pace growing business to showcase your leadership abilities and implement new workflows.Roles & Responsibilities of Operations & Inventory ExecutiveYour primary roles include Operations, Inventory, Purchasing, Vendor Management and Building Maintenance. Some of the roles and responsibilities are defined below but are not limited to the list defined. The roles may get added and changed as required by the management.Operations: You will be responsible for the bakery operations and maintenance, including daily opening and closing checklists.Inventory management: You need to keep track of the inventory levels of bakery products, and ensure that the bakery always has enough products on hand to meet customer demand. Order stock levels to be reported and supplied on regular basis for purchasing. Measuring and handing over ingredients to operations and production on a daily usage bass.Record keeping and reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of wastage, production, inventory, purchasing and housekeeping reports and other reports as required.Purchasing and cost control: Responsible include purchasing raw materials, supplies, and equipment as needed. This may involve researching vendors, negotiating prices and terms, and placing orders putting cost controls and payment terms in place.Purchase quantity and quality control: You will be responsible for ensuring that allincoming inventory is inspected by checking and signing the quantities, testing samples, and working closely with other departments to ensure that quality standards are maintained.Forecasting: The inventory purchasing officer is responsible for forecasting inventory needs based on production schedules, sales data, and other relevant factors. This is essential for ensuring that the bakery always has enough stock on hand to meet demand.Housekeeping management: The housekeeping supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the bakery premises, including the kitchen, storage areas, and restrooms, are kept clean and hygienic at all times. This includes ensuring that all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and debris and that floors, walls, and ceilings are cleaned regularly. Additionally, Managing Waste and excess staff food is part of the role.Building management: You will be responsible for the up keep and maintenance of the complete bakery while managing and keeping checklists of the maintenance being done.Secondary Role: Logistics and Dispatch: This includes logistics mapping, dispatch and delivery management when the logistics executive is unavailable.Requirements2+ years in Operations, Inventory, Purchasing and Logistics1+ years of people management experience.Advantage for hospitality and bakery experienceExperience in process improvementsBachelors DegreeHas a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resources.Good Analytic and Negotiation SkillsExcellent communication and writing in EnglishComputer knowledge and good excel knowledgeExperience in any CRM or restaurant billing system is an advantageWorks well under pressure and good at multitaskingBenefits· Flexibility along with a lot of learning along with the way· Perks and Bonuses· Food and TeaJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹25,000 ₹40,000, depending on experienceEmployment TypeFull-time
