Job Summary
The IT Delivery Leader is a newly created role that will provide leadership, direction and vision to support the development, implementation and delivery of Avient’s IT Delivery Center in Pune, India. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position will focus on delivering certain IT services to the global organization while ensuring high performance and efficient operations with a strategic client focused, service excellence orientation. This role will be located in Pune, India.
Avient IT continues to build out its presence in India as a hub of capacity for the growing needs of the business. This leader will be responsible for building a world class IT Delivery Center where work can be consolidated and shifted from other regions. In order to be successful, a strong working relationship with the IT Leadership team that is collaborative in nature will be paramount.
Essential Functions
• Creates and executes a clear strategy for the IT Delivery Center that prioritizes high quality service with efficient operations
• Builds and establishes a high performing team that becomes a critical extension of the global IT team
• Leads and owns the delivery of certain IT services to enable a world class information technology function.
• Shapes, and partners with IT Leadership, to prioritize and deliver IT demand generated by other teams
• Supports all facets of talent for the IT Delivery Center including talent acquisition, retention, and development to ensure long term succession and pipeline is supported
• Drives the development, implementation and continual review of robust policies, frameworks, and service delivery plans to ensure the effective management of the portfolio of activities as well as compliance with relevant legislation, policy and guidelines
• Establishes relevant CTQs (critical to quality) metrics to benchmark services delivered from the IT Delivery Center
• Collaborates to deliver effective governance across the IT Delivery Center portfolio of activities and across Avient as a key participant in critical planning and decision-making processes.
• Maintains awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, changes in markets, new sector/industry developments and standards, in order to identify opportunities to enhance service outcomes.
• Achieves a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and excellence in customer service, performance and safety across a diverse portfolio of IT services.
• Drives engagement activities across the function to support our Great Place to Work® culture
• Promotes a culture of agility and open communication
• Ensures business continuity planning for the IT Delivery Center
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education and Experience
• 10+ years of experience working and influencing cross-functionally, globally and with senior leaders in a matrix organization
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience leading and influencing others to meet goals, objectives, and project milestones
• Working experience leading organizational initiatives, such program implementations, process improvements, procedural changes, with a focus on change management
• Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise-wide initiatives as a leader
• Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP environment Other requirements:
• Drives change with thoughtful consideration of the organization while balancing the need to achieve meaningful results timely
• Tailors messages, as appropriate, to different levels of the organization to enable change efficiently and effectively
• Ensures that as we scale we stay true to our values and differentiators of customer success, agility, and innovation
• Ability to engage key stakeholders to include critical customer requirements in strategic design
