We are seeking passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with the ability to create delicious meals that delight our guests. As a Chef/Cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our dishes while ensuring a smooth operation within the kitchen.
Duties
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared on time and to specification.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork during service periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
• Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, ovens, grills, and mixers.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
• A passion for culinary arts and creativity in meal preparation is essential.

Pay: £9.00-£14.50 per hour
