Patient Scheduling Senior Administrator: Whanganui Hospital: Permanent, Fulltime

About the Role
The key purpose of the role is Provide day to day management, supervision and support to the Referral Centre and scheduling staff. You will also support the Patient Scheduling manager in monitoring the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the referral centre and scheduling teams
You will join a team of 24 dedicated specialty administrators and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. Accurate and efficient data entry is essential, along with a methodical and structured approach to your working style. Working autonomously but also well in a team environment, you will also need to have a creative approach to problem solving, ability to learn quickly and a good understanding of the importance of teamwork.

About you
As a Patient Scheduling Senior Administrator, you will need:
Excellent knowledge of how to use WEBPAS, Reporting Services and Clinical Portal
Can easily Identify and implement improvements to operational processes
A strong methodical approach to your day-to-day work
The ability to build and maintain good working relationships
A sense of ownership of your work, but also knowing when to ask for help
A willingness to constantly learn and teach in this ever-changing environment
