SHOWstudio has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Junior Digital Designer / CMS Content Editor.
Please note this is a Graphic Design / Web Design / CMS / Motion Graphics - based role; it is NOT a Photography / Fashion / Tailoring role.
As a Digital Designer / CMS Content Editor at SHOWstudio, you must be a creative problem-solver, very organised, and have good time management skills. This role requires someone who is a self-starter who can efficiently multitask and understand how to deliver a project from conception to completion. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential. It is also important that you are a team player, able to handle criticism and implement direction to improve designs.
THE DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Have a good understanding of current design and media trends and apply this to your work.
• Creating and producing digital design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, print, email templates, social media graphics.
• Converting video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web
• Updating our website throughout the day by using our Content Management System.
• Designing and delivering title cards, design elements and motion graphics for our video content, including fashion films and interviews.
• Brainstorming, story-boarding and sketching designs for new projects.
• Creating eye-catching presentations to appeal to clients / stakeholders.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• A passion for the arts and fashion.
• Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail, typography and grid-based design systems.
• A digital portfolio of work which demonstrates your flair and accompanying description outlining your specific involvement in the creation of each design
• Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects MediaEncoder.
• Experience in content management and publishing web content using a CMS.
• Experience in producing artwork for materials, posters, postcards and invitations.
• Experience in converting video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible web / social media formats.
• Experience creating pitch decks using InDesign, Keynote, and Google Slides.
• Solid understanding of the capabilities and limitations of different social media platforms.
• Work effectively and efficiently with software, ensuring your file management and delivery are well structured and considered.
• An ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A strong sense of team with the capacity to be flexible, practical, and collaborative.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
BENEFICIAL SKILLS
• Fashion-related background and experience would be an advantage
• Experience with 3D software (Blender/Cinema4D) would be a big bonus
• Experience in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
LOCATION
London
This is not a remote working position. You will be required to work from our studio five days a week.
