We are looking to hire a skilled and passionate Indian Chef for our cloud kitchen, specializing in authentic regional cuisines. The chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This is a full-time role requiring culinary expertise, creativity, and efficiency in a delivery-focused environment.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Indian Chef located in Pune. The Indian Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking Indian cuisine, ensuring high-quality food presentation and taste. The role includes planning menus, managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring sanitation standards, and collaborating with the management team to enhance customer satisfaction. The Chef will also innovate new dishes and assist in training junior chefs.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Indian cuisine, including regional specialties and modern twists
• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques
• Skills in kitchen management, including inventory control, staff supervision, and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Ability to innovate and create new dishes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook Indian dishes with consistency and authenticity.2. Plan and manage prep schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
3. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food storage, and hygiene protocols.
4. Innovate new menu items based on seasonal trends and customer feedback.
5. Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement to minimize wastage.
