Melbourne Girls Grammar is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and innovative Language Assistant to join our Languages Department and make a real difference in students’ language learning journeys.

As a native speaker of Italian, you will work alongside a passionate and professional team of educators to bring the Italian language to life. This exciting role involves supporting students in developing their oral and written expression, fostering cultural appreciation, and enriching their overall learning experience.

We are looking for someone who is:

A native Italian speaker with a strong command of the language;
Patient, energetic and engaging, with a genuine love for working with young people;
Qualified with a university degree in Languages (Italian);
Experienced in language teaching or as a language assistant, with a sound understanding of language pedagogy; and
Familiar with the VCE Italian curriculum and assessment requirements.
